Fixed Stars 
with Olivia Woodford

Open the window on the field of fixed stars in a lecture that will reveal how a major star in a person's chart provides important clues to that person's life journey.  Fixed stars, often overlooked in contemporary astrology, interact with the planets of a horoscope through parans made at different phases of a person's life.  Olivia invites us to return to astrology's origins, reviving the ancient meanings ascribed to individual stars in both the northern and southern hemispheres.  Having researched the star's mythologies in several cultures, Olivia will offer an interpretation of the most prominent fixed stars and how they illuminate and influence the angles and planets within a horoscope.

Olivia Woodford is an astrologer whose background as an artist and teacher, combined with her studies in Jungian psychology and Eastern and Western philosophies, gives her a unique perspective as an astrologer to interpret and explore ways in which an individual can meet the forces, challenges and gifts that are currently being felt.  She is a member of NCGR and NTA.  As a certified mythic and fixed star astrologer.  She studied Mythic Astrology with Wendy Ashley, Fixed Stars with Bernadette Brady, and Shamanic Astrology with Daniel Giamario.
